Hi – thanks for visiting my website, I’m really glad you stopped by! My name is John, and I’m the author of the Good Choice Bad Choice Diet™. What is that you ask? It’s pretty simple. Good Choice Bad Choice is a concept I came up with that basically states “you’re overweight because you made bad (food) choices, and to lose that weight you’ll need to make just as many good choices”. Our motto is “Make Good Choices“.
Does this mean that you can never eat food that’s bad for you again? Certainly not (good news, right?). It just means that if you want to lose weight, you need to make more good food choices than bad. If you just want to maintain the weight you have, well you can afford to make a few more bad choices balanced out by good ones.
Over years of dieting my beautiful wife Tracy and I have learned a lot about cooking and eating healthy. I’ve also learned a lot about cooking and eating foods that, when eaten every day, will outright kill you over time (if you don’t balance them out with the ‘good choices’). I’m no expert, and I’ve made a lot of mistakes. But I think we all have (or you wouldn’t be here reading this page right now).
What I can do for you is share the things that I’ve learned, and together maybe we an build a community of people helping one another. I don’t have a quick fix for anyone, but perhaps a good place to start is to read about how I lost “15 pounds in 15 days“.
